AV Center Cinema Partners with Volfoni for 3D Rollout to Largest Danish Theatre Association

Paris, France, 30th October 2018 — Volfoni Limited, the leading European provider of 3D technology, today announced that AV Center Cinema, the leading supplier of technical equipment and services to the Danish AV and cinema market, has selected Volfoni for a multi-cinema rollout of 3D equipment to one of the largest Danish Theatre Associations. Volfoni worked with AV Center Cinema to equip multiple cinemas from multiple cinema operators and to deploy 24 of Volfoni’s latest 3D hardware systems.

AV Center Cinema, formerly VLL (“VÆRKSTED FOR LYS OG LYD”) Denmark, was recently merged with AV Center, a leading Danish AV supplier, which operates multiple locations in Denmark and whose business spans rental, sales and installation of all AV equipment, in April 2018. AV Center Cinema has been a supplier of cinema equipment to the industry for more than 20 years. AV Center Cinema has been instrumental in the transformation of the Danish cinema industry from legacy film technology into the high-tech digital environments of today. AV Center Cinema partnered with Volfoni for all of the Danish Theatre Association’s 3D hardware system requirements.

AV Center Cinema has deployed a combination of Volfoni’s 3D cinema technology products for their Danish cinema customers. All 24 of the systems have been fully deployed across multiple cinemas and multiple cinema operators, which includes every member company of the Danish Theatre Association.

Volfoni 3D Selected by VOX Cinemas for First Multiplex at Riyadh Park in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Volfoni’s 3D cinema technology will be deployed as part of a major renovation of their multiplex in Tartu, Estonia.

Volfoni Launches Counterclaim in IP Lawsuit in Germany

Düsseldorf, Germany, 5 June 2018 –

Volfoni, the leading European provider of 3D technology, today announced the launch of Volfoni’s counterclaim to the intellectual property lawsuit filed by RealD in Germany. Volfoni further announced the retention of Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP, one of the leading intellectual property law firms in the world, to represent Volfoni in intellectual property related legal proceedings.

Volfoni developed a carefully crafted legal strategy in response to the complaint raised by RealD in their lawsuit against Volfoni (and CinemaNext) in Düsseldorf, Germany. In their suit, RealD alleged infringement of three patents by Volfoni’s high-performance SmartCrystal™ Diamond 3D cinema system. In Volfoni’s counterclaim, the Company has provided strong arguments based on non-infringement and invalidity to be used to defend its superior technology.

Volfoni Launches Landmark Upgrade Program

Paris, France, 1st September 2017— Volfoni Limited, the leading European provider of 3D technology, today announced the launch of the new Volfoni Upgrade Program. This program was designed to provide an upgrade path from legacy 3D cinema hardware systems from other manufacturers to the latest-generation 3D cinema hardware systems from Volfoni.

The Volfoni Upgrade Program provides special incentives for upgrading from legacy 3D hardware systems to Volfoni’s latest 3D hardware systems. The program recognizes the past investments that customers have made, and helps them to improve their operational efficiency by letting them easily and affordably replace outdated 3D systems. The manufacturers included in the program are: MasterImage™, Dolby™ and XpanD™.

The Volfoni Upgrade Program is a limited time offer, running from September through the end of the year 2017.

Volfoni’s 3D cinema business unit continues its growth momentum in the marketplace across multiple regions with significant projects announced or to-be-announced in different geographies. This announcement follows the recent announcement of Volfoni expanding their leadership team with the appointment of a new Chief Marketing Officer.

Volfoni Strengthens Leadership Team with Appointment of New Chief Marketing Officer

Paris, France, 22^nd August 2017 — Volfoni, the leading European provider of 3D technology, today announced that technology industry veteran Allen Schoonmaker has joined the Company in the newly created role of Chief Marketing Officer. An accomplished marketing executive, Mr. Schoonmaker has successfully defined and implemented marketing and branding strategies for both private and public companies. The appointment of Mr. Schoonmaker is the latest step in the Company’s effort to strengthen its leadership team as it capitalizes on the growing demand for high performance and high efficiency 3D cinema systems. Mr. Schoonmaker joins a seasoned leadership team at Volfoni with many years of experience in the cinema industry.

Previously, Mr. Schoonmaker served as Head of Marketing for SpeedCast Limited, where he drove the transformation of SpeedCast from a small regional player into a leading brand within the satellite services industry. He also helped to guide the company from a privatization through to an initial public offering on the ASX stock exchange.

In his position as Chief Marketing Officer, Mr. Schoonmaker will be responsible for all global marketing activities including marketing strategy, branding, messaging, advertising, public relations, vertical marketing, analyst relations, alliance marketing and marketing communications.
