Volfoni Selected by Grand Cinemas as 3D Technology Partner
Beirut, Lebanon, 8 August 2017 — Volfoni, the leading European provider of 3D technology, today announced that Volfoni was selected by Grand Cinemas as their 3D technology partner for the provisioning and roll-out of over 40 screens for 3D cinema technology. Volfoni’s 3D cinema technology will be deployed in a state-of-the-art multiplex to be opened in ABC Mall in Verdun, Lebanon.

Grand Cinemas will deploy a combination of Volfoni’s 3D cinema technology products, including the highly efficient SmartCrystal™ Cinema NEO series and the award-winning SmartCrystal™ Diamond series. The initial deployment will be for Grand Cinema’s new state-of-the-art multiplex to be opened in ABC MALL in Verdun, Lebanon in August 2017. The follow-on deployments will be used to upgrade and replace existing 3D cinema products, from a leading competitor, with Volfoni’s higher performance and higher efficiency products.
