U.S. Patent Infringement Lawsuit Against Volfoni Is Dismissed

default newsLOS ANGELES–Worldwide leader in 3D technology Volfoni announced today that RealD agreed to dismiss the U.S. patent lawsuit against Volfoni in the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

Volfoni denies RealD’s allegations of U.S. patent infringement against Volfoni’s SmartCrystal™ Diamond product, and asserts that RealD has no corresponding international patents for the U.S. patents at issue in the lawsuit.

Volfoni continues to offer its SmartCrystal™ Diamond product to theater-owners on the international market, to great success. The SmartCrystal™ Diamond passive 3D polarization system uses an innovative “Triple Beam” technology, producing the highest light efficiency of any 3D system on the market.
